  1.  FairIsleｩ -  Version 1.5 by Albie Wong - September 1997
  2.  Optimised for Greg Landweber's Kaleidoscope 1.7.2 Control Panel, for the MacOS8.

  4.  Drop FairIsle into the Kaleidoscope Color Schemes folder located
  5.  inside your Extensions folder within the System folder.
  6.  But first of all, download Kaleidoscope too... available everywhere, and read the large print.

  8.  FairIsle - a need to incorporate those dinky DewBerry scrollbars onto a grayscale scheme.
  9.  Or, just another weak excuse to do one more grayscale, with a slightly warped attitude.
  10.  Whatever, FairIsle is a DewBerryｩ scrollbar derivative/hybrid, without the purple.
  11.  For the discerning MacUser that believes purple is a bad luck color.

  13.  FairIsle...  looks like a case of Chain Mail at thousands and millions of colors;
  14.                     looks still fairly grayscaleyat 256 colors;
  15.                     takes on an unlikely sky blue tinge in 16 colors;
  16.                     is not that terrible in 4 colors;
  17.                     looks fine in b&w.

  19.  FairIsle...  is freeware, as are all KaleidoScopies, so far, but any comments, compliments, complaints welcome. 
  20.  May be freely distributed as long as it is not altered, and this About FairIsle document accompanies FairIsle. 
  21.  Definitely ok to be CD-Romed, and distributed, with due acknowledgements.
